Tucked away in the narrow lanes of the Peth areas stands the Gupte family residence, which, adapting to changing times and generations, underwent redevelopment. The building now houses three families, providing them with spacious apartments and a duplex, a rarity in such a densely populated area. The form of the building is in alignment with the site conditions, featuring a front façade where alternating balconies and staircase windows are framed to create a staggered effect. A jaali pattern has been incorporated to elegantly bridge the offsets between these elements.
